The Elm Creek Watershed is located entirely within Hennepin County. The watershed also works closely with the Hennepin County Department of Environmental Services and the Hennepin Conservation District.

The Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources helps local governments manage and conserve their water and soil resources.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources aims to work with citizens to conserve and manage the state's natural resources, to provide outdoor recreation opportunities, and to provide for commercial uses of natural resources in a way that creates a sustainable quality of life.

For information on water quality and building projects, visit the website of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.

Visit the website of the Three Rivers Park District, a natural resources-based park system located in the suburban Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. With nearly 27,000 acres of park reserves, regional parks, regional trails and special-use facilities, their goal is to promote environmental stewardship through recreation and education in a natural resources-based park system.

The East Metro Water Resource Education Program (EMWREP) is a partnership formed to develop a comprehensive water resource education and outreach program for the east metro area of St. Paul, MN, including all of Washington County as well as a small portion of Ramsey and Anoka Counties.

Watershed Partners, Inc. provides a wide range of project-oriented services designed to handle client needs from site selection and lease negotiation through design and construction, set-up, move-in and occupancy.
