Ø      The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources aims to work with citizens to conserve and manage the state's natural resources, to provide outdoor recreation opportunities, and to provide for commercial uses of natural resources in a way that creates a sustainable quality of life.

Ø      For information on water quality and building projects, visit the website of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.

Ø      Visit the website of the Three Rivers Park District, a natural resources-based park system located in the suburban Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. With nearly 27,000 acres of park reserves, regional parks, regional trails and special-use facilities, their goal is to promote environmental stewardship through recreation and education in a natural resources-based park system.

Ø      The Friends of Elm Creek is a community-based non-profit organization made up of concerned citizens who value the tremendous natural resources of the Elm Creek Corridor, which runs through the heart of our community.
