The Elm Creek Watershed Management Commission is now accepting applications for their Water Quality Education Grants program. Grants of up to $1,000 are available to assist educators, youth groups, and non-profit organizations and associations in raising awareness about our water resources – lakes, streams and wetlands – and improving our water quality. Examples of eligible activities include field trips, water quality monitoring, obtaining educational materials or training, planting rain gardens, stenciling storm drains, preparing newsletters or other materials – the more creative the better.
Applicants must live, work, or attend school within the watershed. An application form, watershed map, and informational material are linked below.
